At the conclusion of the Divine Liturgy, the Great Vespers of Pentecost was served, along with the Kneeling Prayers. With the abundant greens in the church, along with a strong sense of prayer from the believers, it was more than clear, that the Holy Spirit was among us, and every church celebrating the feast of the Holy Trinity.
On Sunday, May 31, 2015 the Holy Church celebrates the feast of the Holy Trinity or "Pentecost". The feast of Pentecost commemorates the descent of the Holy Spirit upon the Apostles on the fiftieth day after the Resurrection of Christ. The triumphant singing of the hymn "O Heavenly King" was first sung during the Great Vespers service, served the night before.

On the night of April 12, parishioners of the Russian Orthodox Church of Three Saints, celebrated the radiant feast of the Resurrection of Christ! During the day on May 4th, the Paschal Baskets were blessed by Parish rector Archpriest George Konyev. The Acts of the Apostles were read before the Holy Shroud prior to the beginning of the Midnight Office. During the singing of the Ninth Ode, "Do Not Lament Me O Mother", the Holy Shroud was returned to the Holy Altar Table where it will remain until the Ascension of Christ. At 12:00 the clergy in the Altar began singing, "Thy Resurrection o Christ our Savior" in which the Paschal Procession commenced. At the principal doors of the Church, with the exclamation of the Festal Troparion, "Christ is Risen from the Dead.." the Matins of Pascha began. During the Matins, the Sermon of St. John Chrysostom was read from the solea. At the end of Matins, eggs were blessed and distributed among the faithful. Hours later the same day, the Triumphant Divine Liturgy of St. John Chrysostom was served. Communion was distributed to hundreds of faithful who flocked to Three Saints Church. On Palm Sunday, the Holy Orthodox Church celebrated the feast of the Entry of the Lord into Jerusalem. The church was adorned with palms and flowers, and the faithful stood with pussy willows, preparing to joyously greet the Savior and cry out to Him: “Blessed is He that cometh in the name of the Lord!” After the conclusion of the services the previous evening, Fr. George performed the rite of blessing the pussy willows, which were then distributed to the faithful. On Sunday morning, everyone once again came with joy to the Holy Chalice, and the rector called on everyone to remain close to the Lord as He embarks on the path to His voluntary suffering for our sake and for our salvation. On Sunday, February 22th, 2015 the Holy Church celebrates the Explusion of Adam from Paradise also reffered to as Cheesfare Sunday and Forgiveness Sunday. On this day, after the celebration of the Divine Liturgy, in the evening, Great Vespers was served to mark the beginning of Great Lent. During the First Week of Lent, the Great Canon of Repentance, by Saint Andrew, Archbishop of Crete was read together with the Grand Compline. Presanctified Liturgies were served on Wednesday Morning and Friday Evening On Sunday, February 15, 2013 the Holy Church celebrated the Feast of the Meeting of the Lord. On Saturday, the evening before, the festal Vigil was served. The following day, the Divine Liturgy was celebrated by the Parish Clergy. After the Divine Liturgy, the ancient tradition of the Blessing of the Candles was served.
On January 19, 2015 - the great celebration of the Baptism of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ took place in Three Saints Church. The previous evening on January 18th, the service of the Grand Compline and Matins was held in which a multitude of worshipers came to church. At the end of Matins, Fr. George preformed the 1st Great Blessing of Water. The Festal Divine Liturgy was served by the parish clergy in honor of the feast. The church was filled completely, in which the majority of whom partook of the Holy Mysteries. After the Prayer before the Ambo, Fr. George preformed 2nd Great Blessing of Water. After his sermon, the faithful prayerfully partook of the blessed water, and brought it to their homes On , January 7, 2015, Orthodox Christians on the Julian Calendar celebrate the Birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. A great multitude of faithful flocked to Three Saints Church, to lift up their prayers to the newborn Christ. Great Compline along with Matins was served the previous evening with the singing of the festal Canon. The Festal Divine Liturgy was served on the following morning, with parishioners again filling the church. Most of the parishioners partook of the Holy Mysteries. Fr. George then sang the Magnification before the Icon of the Nativity. |
