On Sunday, February 22th, 2015 the Holy Church celebrates the Explusion of Adam from Paradise also reffered to as Cheesfare Sunday and Forgiveness Sunday. On this day, after the celebration of the Divine Liturgy, in the evening, Great Vespers was served to mark the beginning of Great Lent.
During the First Week of Lent, the Great Canon of Repentance, by Saint Andrew, Archbishop of Crete was read together with the Grand Compline.
