O Lord, save Thy people,/ and bless Thine inheritance./ Grant victory unto Orthodox Christians/ over their adversaries,// preserving Thy community by Thy Cross.
On Tuesday, August 14,2012; on the feast of the Seven Macabean Martyrs, and the Procession of the Precious Wood of the Life-giving Cross of the Lord, the Office of the Lesser Blessing of Water was preformed by parish rector, Fr. George Konyev. In Accordance with the tradition on the feastday, it is customary to also bless honey. An exceptional amount of worshipers gathered in church, to have their honey blessed, and to lift up their prayers.
