On Tuesday, January 7, 2014, Orthodox Christians on the Julian Calendar celebrate the Birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. A great multitude of faithful flocked to Three Saints Church, to lift up their prayers to the newborn Christ. Great Compline along with Matins was served the previous evening with the singing of the festal Canon.
The Festal Divine Liturgy was served on Tuesday morning, with parishioners again filling the church. Most of the parishioners partook of the Holy Mysteries. Fr. George then censed the Icon of the Nativity with the singing of the Troparion and Kontakion.
